Hey Ya’ll! I’m Nancy with Cobani Bleu!

Did you ever just want to jump ship so badly and do your own thing? Well that is what I did several years ago! I jumped off the corporate bandwagon. Now there was a plan in place, but you know how that goes…

I was working away at making my upholstery business a success when things got a little detoured. After a lot of thought, my sister and I decided to be roommates. We would sell both of our homes and buy one together. I would move from Atlanta to Nashville. Of course we took the long route.

• We staged and sold Sister’s house
• Bought an old fixer upper ranch
• Moved Sister in to the old fixer upper ranch
• Staged and sold my house in Atlanta
• Moved to Nashville
• Renovated said old fixer upper ranch house

Once settled into Nashville, it was time to get back to upholstery!

I love me some upholstery. Stripping a chair feeds my soul, really! The more nails and staples the better! And don’t get me started on textiles. And when a chair is stripped and restrung, stuffed, padded and upholstered, I am one proud mama!
