Hey Y’all!
I’m Nancy of Cobani Bleu
Have you ever dreamed of leaving your day job behind and chasing a life that truly brings you joy?
I did just that—and I can honestly say I’ve never looked back!
For years, I worked in corporate America, navigating its fast-paced world, but something always felt missing. I longed for creativity and fulfillment, and in 2012, I finally found my passion when I started taking upholstery classes. What began as a fun creative outlet quickly became a love affair with transforming furniture into art.
By 2014, I took a leap of faith and left the corporate world to pursue upholstery full-time. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! Through Cobani Bleu, I design one-of-a-kind chairs, ottomans, and other furniture pieces that tell stories and bring a spark of joy to any space.

Fun Fact
Cobani Bleu isn’t just a business name—it’s a heartfelt tribute to my beloved pets, Cody, Bailey, and Nike, whose names come together to form “Cobani.” They have since gained their angel wings, but their memory lives on through my work. The “Bleu” is inspired by my love of all things French and my favorite color in the world, blue.

I 💙💙💙 textiles!
My furniture designs are influenced by my appreciation for unique and meaningful textiles. I love incorporating materials like mudcloth, kantha quilts, and vintage grain sacks, blending tradition with artistry to create vibrant, personal pieces. My goal is to offer more than just furniture—I want to offer pieces that inspire happiness, spark conversation, and truly feel like “you.”
