THE ART OF SITTING SOFT

My Mom would say “Let’s go sit soft.”  She would announce this after a meal and everyone was lingering around the table. It was time to get comfortable. I kind of love this. But where did this come from, I never heard anyone use this phrase other than my mom. So I did some research. Yep, I googled it! Haha!

PRAISE FOR COBANI BLEU

Etsy Customer, Lisa had this to say:
Over the top pleased with the quality and attention to detail. The photos were excellent but seeing the chair in person was even better than expected. One word to describe it “Magnificent”. Nancy, was such a pleasure to work with responds quickly to questions. One of my favorite shops cannot wait to find more hidden treasures.

And Then This…
This is my second purchase, just could not resist buying another chair. The furniture refinishing is over the top the color is perfect goes so well with the two fabrics. Nancy is a real professional when it comes to quality and detail. The photos were excellent but seeing the chair in person was even better than expected.

[social_warfare buttons=”Facebook,Instagram”]Visiting garden centers has always been a happy place for me, so today, I am going to give you a tour of The Barn Nursery in Chattanooga, TN. This nursery is truly an Disney like wonderland for gardeners. I don’t live in Chattanooga, so you might be wondering, why I would be sharing this nursery with you. Well, it is half way between Nashville and Atlanta, and in my opinion, is the absolute best place for a quick rest stop on my many trips between these two cities. Several years ago, when Sister first moved to Nashville, and I…

The Relaunch of Cobani Bleu, The Art of Sitting Soft

A Fresh Start for Cobani Bleu When I started Cobani Bleu, the blog, its purpose was to support my upholstery business. I had a little dream to retire from corporate America and create a new life with upholstery. I knew absolutely NOTHING about websites, blogs and even less about social media. This being the case, I hired someone to help me create a brand and then build my website. I really struggled with the branding because I had no idea what I was doing. But the end result was a beautiful logo and website. Everyone that saw it, loved it….

Why Our Family is Wild for Windmills

I’ve never been to Holland, but I think it would be a special place to visit. Imagine touring the countryside thru fields of tulips (because why wouldn’t you go to Holland when the tulips are blooming!) with windmills dotting the landscape. Oh windmills! We love windmills! In decorating our house, Sister and I really wanted a to find an authentic windmill. And lucky for us, we found a beautiful rusty windmill at the City Farmhouse Pop-Up Fair last fall. The galvanized patina has gorgeous shades of blue-gray mingled with rust. Its a perfect addition to our family room. But it…
