THE ART OF SITTING SOFT

My Mom would say “Let’s go sit soft.”  She would announce this after a meal and everyone was lingering around the table. It was time to get comfortable. I kind of love this. But where did this come from, I never heard anyone use this phrase other than my mom. So I did some research. Yep, I googled it! Haha!

PRAISE FOR COBANI BLEU

Etsy Customer, Lisa had this to say:
Over the top pleased with the quality and attention to detail. The photos were excellent but seeing the chair in person was even better than expected. One word to describe it “Magnificent”. Nancy, was such a pleasure to work with responds quickly to questions. One of my favorite shops cannot wait to find more hidden treasures.

And Then This…
This is my second purchase, just could not resist buying another chair. The furniture refinishing is over the top the color is perfect goes so well with the two fabrics. Nancy is a real professional when it comes to quality and detail. The photos were excellent but seeing the chair in person was even better than expected.

She has served me well, but she is plum worn out and in desperate need of a make over. She is a swivel rocker, slip covered in a blue twill printed paisley fabric. The print is wearing off the arms. The padding on the arms has broken down and you can feel the frame. It actually hurts if you leave your arms resting there too long. The seat cushion needs to be replaced. And…

Channel Back #2: Guess what happened when I upholstered this one?

In upholstering my 2nd channel back chair, I had 3 issues! If you have been following along with this blog, you know that I just returned from some upholstery classes where I had the opportunity to learn some advanced skills, button tufting and a channel back chair. You can read all about my class adventures here. Now what really works for me when I learn something new in upholstery, is to immediately work on a new project using the same skills. When I came home from North Carolina, I stalked Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist for a channel back chair. There…
